Two pairs of animated time-lapse stereoscopic photographs of a busy Union wharf on the Potomac Creek in Virginia, 1864. Movements of boats and wagons carrying supplies can be seen between photographs because the photos were taken within seconds of one another using a stereoscopic camera.
